ok i need ashantae to update now. she's probably busy organizing groovefest.

today was crazy and nutty at school. we had open house (5 families) and i had snack and then we had a visiting dentist because it's "community helpers month" and someone might be quitting and the fundraiser master notebook is MISSING and i heard from leslie that her tests came back all good and the baby is fine! and i drove marion home to where there was a nice present on her porch from us, the board. a beautiful flowering lilac bush in memory of her father. her garden is wonderful and i can't wait cannot wait CANNOT WAIT to get into a house and do gardening again myself. i mean, i'm no whitney, but my tucson garden had herbs and veggies. and flowers.

the smell of orange blossom makes me dizzy, i want to breathe it in until i pass out.

and mike called me a couple of times because we are trying to lock in our lumber price at 1.2 million.

and i'm real lucky to have the friends i do. me and bubba are going to ride the train tomorrow to the LBC to see leah's dog and bathroom.

and i'm so glad for les.

OH! and i got 2 new pairs of GLASSES i'm so happy.

orange blossom and fresh cut grass...
someone was mowing a lawn in my neighbourhood a couple days ago.. and it was sunny.. and i just lay on my bed with the window open (its up against it at the same level) and breathed it in.
i just want to eat spring/summer.

i wanted to keep my placenta but since it's an organ the hospital said NO. they put it into an incinerator right then and there. after going to pathology. it wasn't looking hot but i did get to see it. poor sylvan was well done, and it was expiring. so instead of planting a cherry or persimmon tree over it like i intended, i'm planting a shrub for him that we'll transplant whenever we move.

forsythia! it blooms right around his birthday. one of the first blooms of spring. it buds before it puts on leaves. when you see it, you know that spring is only a few weeks away.

how perfect. we saved the placenta for awhile in the freezer and then the midwife gave us a eucalyptus (usedtolickthis) tree to plant it over. we did and the tree died quickly. i don't htink i got the hole dug deep enough in the hard desert ground. there was no one to help me :/
