Mar. 30th, 2004 06:54 pmok as much as i love my valley girl layout, it has to go.
because i can't stand not seeing icons.
the best thing that happened to me today:
yesterday i got to pick out pool tile! at a tile shop in reseda. of course i picked THE most expensive tile in the showroom, i found out. but it's gorgeous. today the pool guy called and said it was going to cost $600 more dollars but he would split it with us for $300 (i think he just said that but whatever). so i had to clear it with scott and he said YES! he said if i think it's worth it then it's done.

the worst thing that happened to me today:
i worked really hard for eight hours in a row without lunch so i left at 3:30. this was good, i got home fast. at 4:30 scott, who i had been trying to get ahold of ALLLLLLLL DAAAAAAAAYYYY, calls me and says i can come by. i need to go by there and show him the tile and get him to sign off on stuff and get this international windows book. but i missed my chance. and i have been KNOCKING MYSELF OUT trying to get his attention today and when he calls he's like "you're home already?? are you one of those people who works eight hours ONLY and then splits??"
of course he is the only person who would have said that, instead of "oh that's good, you're so stressed out it's good to get out of there early once in awhile."
