Jan. 30th, 2004 05:10 pmjen missed me and said i should update!!! this makes me happy.
wednesday night there was a board meeting, and dinner before at the cut elittle gay mexican place in silverlake. it was decided that we're not going to have our meetings in the sterile school environs anymore, that we should go back to the old way of people's houses. it's going to be at laura's next, drool. she lives in the franklin hills and has a glittery hollywood view to die for, darlink. so yay. it's big fundraiser time again, how did it happen so soon?? teri and i are going to be doing the catalougue again. i can't believe it! it seems like it just happened. this will be my third year to write in this journal about the perils of the bigfundraiser. so it's happening, i've got to get my donations. i'm trying to get a lot of construction things, i've already got a ceiling fan and vinyl windows installed. i want to get carpet too, a certain sq ftage. and one more thing i will need...
school was ok today. there's an awful lot of gossipy incestuousness. i think there just is by the end. i remember being blissfully unaware my first year. now we're seasoned veterans and everyone is all up in everyone else's business. really, it's a great perfect school, but when the parents run the school, there is a certain amaount of talk that goes on among them. i have got to really focus on getting the school squared away for next year, a whole lot of us are graduating leaving enrollment kind of skinny. we need an open house festival! enrollmentpalooza!
omg! best news ever! the two shows i am going to be attending! black eyed peas are playing with NERD (emy!!!) at the wiltern in march. on sam's birthday. so we are trying to get tickets to that. they're not on sale yet, but sam knows someone so maybe soon. the other show is MODEST MOUSE!!! they are playing the night after(!!!) at a theater in hollywood and i'm going to go with bryan & co. woo!! so so exciting, i am very happy about this.

work is weird. i feel like a jackass. i have to go there on sunday.
i'm supposed to go see my lee lee's new place in the LBC tomorrow, i hope it happens!!
