sholandaoh, it's so exciting to be me.
home alone on a saturday night, updating photo page again. (now even the older pics are clickable. go me.)
i say i'm alone, but we all know who's not sleeping in the other room. that's right: THE BANE OF MY FREAKING EXISTENCE. i mean, er, the light of my life. the kid.
the kid has plenty of uncles, but his most favorite and special uncle is uncle bryan. i cannot believe how much he seems to be in love with the boy. i mean, he practically will do anything he asks, and he never really got tired of him even when we spent all weekend with them. if you would have told me years ago that this would be happening i wouldn't have believed you. it makes me respect people on a whole different level when they are nice to my kido. bryan does his best to engage ijah, is always trying to teach him new things, and gasps and giggles with me over what cute things he does.
it's just that i never would have expected that from bryan. he's gonna be a great daddy someday.
(everybody say awww now: "AWWWWW!")
on a different note, all this talk of web cams has me pouting.
that was my secret wish to santa that didn't come true. of course, how's it gonna come true since i didn't tell anyone? sammy knew. he offered to get one at fry's when we were there, but somehow picking it out myself didn't seem appealing. i really freak out over prices, so it's better if i don't know at all. heh.
what kind of a theory is that?

for some reason i have been rooted in the past for the last couple of nights. last night, i was retelling all my christa stories to sam. *sigh* would love to see or communicate with that girl again. she was good.
just thinking of ghosts, and wondering when and if i'll ever cross paths with certain spirits again.
