sholandai went on a field trip this morning to mother nature's pumpkin patch. ijah picked out a pumpkin and painted it. he has this really awesome technique where he uses a liberal amount of paint and ends up with a marbled effect. and he mixes all the colors together so there's a lot of gray.
he's quite talented.
all the moms knew each other. i was the only one that didn't know all these women. and apparently they all know each other from way back. so i just stood there, with my pierced nose and my kid plastered with a "million for roe" sticker, feeling like i had nothing in common. and of course i do, our kids all go to the same montessori school, and we all love sheri, the teacher. it was just a little weird, cause they seemed to all be really super tight.
anyway, went to bookmans. got 12 bucks in trade credit, got one fiction book. there was nothing. this bookmans really sucks compared to the number 1 store in central tucson. now, that's a bookmans.
got 2 book orders to fill so i'm off now.
