sholandathings happen too fast.
LA must mean a million different things to a million different people.
to me it means
landscaping
camillas
hibiscus
roses
flowers ever blooming by the roadside
every square inch
filled and occupied
since 1923
freeways
ventura blvd and it's dizzing array of shops and shopping
silverlake
and houses on top of each other
built on a killer incline
balconies with a view of downtown
hollywood sleaze and wonderment
crooked letters on a hillside
street people
graffitti under the bridge
burros at the stand
hookers on santa monica
but me, i'm stuck in my routes. same trail everyday. i drive around a lot. we're down to one car and it SUCKS. the only way it's working is that we have opposite schedules.
tomorrow, sam's work party. i will most likely be laying off alcohol. woo.
some of the comics we saw last night were really funny. we saw two from phoenix.
yeah.
