sholandabands i have heard back from and am excited about:
jacob fred jazz odyssey!!
same day service!!
betty rage 13!!!
and a few bands i know nothing about. it was really important to me to try to promote cool bands and bands i personally like. but i realize that it's very idealistic. because out of 50 emails i send, 10 respond. out of that 10, 1 will respond when they hear the prices. and then i'll only sign every tenth one of them. so i need a LONG list of cool bands to maybe sign even one. so there is that need to just kind of spam people off mp3.com as well.
*sigh*
bands i have NOT heard from that i should have:
the pistol arrows
so tell me.
more cool bands? they don't have to be anything except:
good musicians
ready to be promoted (=$)
independent labels are great as well
the most important thing is: they can't suck.
so tell me, if you had to turn the world onto something, what would it be?
pretend i'm asking for downloading reccomendations.
