frickfrackin finally. it's only been 2.5 years since i got it. it's stained, i put the hollywood frame together, the headboard is pinned to the wall with the mattress and the footboard is not attached yet. just propped up there. i still have to figure out a fastener but i got a piece of plywood cut to size! i put the cowboy sheets on and my quilt is in the washer and then pics.
good god what an accomplishment.
