i'm really fucking stressed out.

1. work. i can't even go into this. it's bad.

2. kindergarten. my new thing is to try to find a new place to live in a district. these are places i normally wouldn't be able to afford, but i'm desperate. i'm driven, and i AM going to find a place.

3. immenent birthday party.

that's all i have time for really.

i think i might spontaneously combust.

thanks to ashantae for posting the pics of whitney's shower. i'm so glad i got to see the pictures! now if she would just update and tell us what all she got!

anyway i didn't comment because yesterday was mental breakdown day for our whole staff and i was busy.

but i saw them and they are beautiful.

i can't wait to see pregnant whitney. my due date was feb 15th and hers is feb 14th!! ijah was born 3 weeks early jan 24th. so maybe just maybe she'll have the baby while i'm there!! you never know! once when i was home visiting amber went into labor with fennel! i got to do her dishes and sweep her floor and call for her dh to come out of the basement because things were happening!!

my baby will be 5 years older than hers. wow. i am so happy for whitney and john.

someday i will tell the whole whitney story.

ok, so let's have a birthday moment:

about 5-6 months ago, before i started working, isaijah and i went to the thrift store on impulse one day. i found a glow in the dark dinosaur puzzle that we were both ecstatic about and it was like 2 dollars. i get to the register and i didn't have cash adn they didn't take cards under 8 bucks. normally i would have gone and picked out more stuff and put it on the card but they were closing RIGHT THEN, like turning off lights and shit. we had to abandon it. isaijah didn't understand and i felt like the worlds biggest idiot. i'm not one for having cash on me, but cmon, i broke the kids heart for 2 bucks. he always kept talking about this puzzle, for weeks after. then the other day he mentioned that that's what he wanted for his upcoming birthday: a glow in the dark dinosaur puzzle. i told him i would look, but the chances might be slim. he understands thriftstore items are oneofakind. so cool.

so today, i'm walking through ralph's to get lil paperbags to decorate as goody bags, and i stop by the toy aisle. they have an amazing toy aisle at my ralphs. yep, they had it. the glow in the dark dino puzzle. i know this is not a big deal, but it made me VERY happy. he was so disappointed, and i felt so bad about the whole thing, and i was going to search online. BUT IT WAS RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF ME!!

so i got it.
