the thing about california that i notice the most of since my return is the crowdedinness.
this house is so tiny and the driveway to my house is so narrow and the parking and the waiting and everything.
we (me, bryan, and the kid) attempted to go to artwalk and earth day festivals today. both were busy crowded parking nightmares. we got into the brewery where we saw miss jillian (aka puss in bootz)'s very lovely loft and exhibition space. we even got to go through the crooked fireplace and into her bedroom. (neat place, that brewery). jillian graced me with the coolest stickers and magnets. fun, fun, but also overwhemling. there was not one other kid there. so we drove to the earth day festival in balboa park in the valley. omigod so crowded. after waiting in the parking line for 15 minutes, we saw that it was 5 dollars to park at the free festival and i had no cash. the place was crawling with people and cars, did i mention that? so we just let ijah play at moorpark park and then had some ameci's pizza nad watched some of vh1's 100 most shocking moments in rock. (not exactly kid-friendly material, but he was sort of on the computer.)
now he's playing well outside and i am contemplating cheesecake.
i'm tired. i wish that i could just empty my digicam directly into lj without all this processing.
how was your day?
