big ups to bryanbreakfast. (that fool needs to update his lj! everyone go there now and leave a comment asking him to update.) he took me to the viper room last night!
we were on THE LIST.
but wait, it doesn't end there.
he introduced me to TAIME DOWNE.
but wait, wait wait.

taime was totally nice to me, asking me where i lived and where i moved here from. he was actually the first person to say "Welcome to LA". and he gave me a flyer.
and wait.

so we saw metal shop, the band that was danger kitty in the discover card commercial. they were hilarious. it was like comedy and covers of metal classics.

so when it was time to leave, i said good bye to taime and he said "See you around i hope" and gave me a kiss on the cheek!!!!

OH MY GOD!!!!!

i got the ohmygods.

bryan wants to OD me on rock n rol this week and i'm a willing customer.

staying out too late last night starting to catch up with me....

what i got accomplished today: (or, "my boring life")

got connected
restored stock and changed address for bookstore
made pasta with broccoli and zucchini for breakfast
went to whole foods and got stuff
got quarters for laundry
fed kid 3 bowls of cereal over course of day

things i did not do because i forgot:
go show my stupid fucking id so stupid fucking pacbell will give me a stupid fucking phone and i can quit using my stupid fucking cell phone minutes and avoid big stupid fucking cell phone bill.

les is reading operating instructions and liking it. i'm glad:)
mmmm.
wish i could call in a pizza. but because of stupid fucking phone situation, am not patched into intercom system so would not be able to discern when said pizza was being delivered.

well, a little grumpiness is an ok price to pay i guess for metal shop and taime downe.
maybe i will just go to mimsies tomorrow night and not afterfun because i do want to have all my available energy to enjoy the cat club like bryan suggested.

i do love bryan. i remember he was instantly interesting to me when i arrived at the westmoore summer marching band camp as a newbie because he had long hair, drove a camaro, and wore a pearl jam tshirt. i smelled trouble and i was right!! let's play i remember...
i remember bryan and jonathan torturing me cruelly with horrible jokes about flat chested girls during jazz band. i remember bryan and lonnie car surfing in the band parking lot. i remember between bryan and russell newberry having the tallest quads section on the face of the earth. i remember bryan coming up with the most colorful and interesting telloffs for our dickhead band directors, and always getting away with it.

see, if i played i remeber about les, we'd be here alllllll day. and i thinki may have exhausted all the things i remember about her by talking them over with her anyway.

i am lucky to have both of them as friends. mwah! love you guys.

sam is still gone.
they are recording a burger king commercial!
the engineers wives are the backup singers. sam said he would mention that i could do that.

it is very hard to spend all day everydady alone in a new city. i have offers to hang out with at least 2 new people (corey! yay!, and a hipmama.) but i don't feel i can do that until i'm unpackedd. which i did NOT A LICK OF today.

something bono said at the u2 concert keeps coming back to me. he said "phoenix is a miracle city". he said it several times and said he really loves phx.
i have to agree.

god i am so tired.
