i am falling in love with the strokes. i remember bigfatmama talking about them and i never had access to the record. i downloaded a free show here, thanks to passenger86.

they are cool and layered and catchy and melodious. the best part was when the singer was talking to the audience and he said "you guys are good, do you know that? you're beautiful and you're good."

it made me feel all happy inside to hear that.

i just told janice that i was falling in love with the strokes and she said "if everyone fell in love as easily as you do, we'd all be much happier." i guess that's a compliment, i do fall in love with things easily, and with much passion. i am a passionate girl. i worry about it sometimes, though. my dad always used to tell me not to wear my heart on my sleeve. i can't help it, i have it tattooed on my arm and written in the sky.

*sigh*
i miss my kid. i have no patience for work today.
