oklahoma is not happening. my mom is not going for it. *shrug*

i called muriel to tell her i was about to book my ticket and she said "well, we're going to mexico, then!"

did the mimsies really not play minneapolis?
i am jumping up and down. there is a god, and she loves me.

what a night.
my ear hurts from being on the phone. i talked to muriel twice, my mil twice, leah, my mom, and chrissy. forever on the chrissy phone call.
but.
my flight is booked, the trip is planned.
i am so so happy. mexico will be deserted because it's hot and nasty there this time of year, but i don't care. i will wake up and see the ocean first thing in the morning and that's what matters. i am trying to remember if it was august last year when the mosquitoes were so bad there. i should look back in the ol' lj and see. see how handy this thing is?
i will be staying kind of a long time, nine days. 3 days with the mil, 3-4 days in mexico, and a day at the end to go to reid park zoo or whatever.

i love muriel. i'm so excited.
i did all kinds of laundry while i was on the phone, which is always good.
kid-o just said: "it's mine! i'm telling!" in his sleep. how cute.
off to call d. something about being her camerawhore. me? camerawhore? but of course!
oh, and i forgot to mention i had a really nice day today. went to children's concert and then to lunch in larchmont with sherri. lots o moms around. there were 12 in our group at one point, but we had to split up because no one could accomodate us. then i hung out at sherri's cause she's leaving tonight to go on vacation to the midwest for 2 weeks. bah. when she gets back, i'll be leaving.
so it goes.
i am so incredibly happy. i feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of me.
