(no subject)

i am a badass.
sam and i got bunkbeds for the kids today at ikea (oh god. i am no longer an ikea virgin.) and he put half of it together before he left for work.

i finished the other half, including manuvering the matresses. the top one, which weighs at least a substantial percentage of what i do, really threw me. i think i got it up there by sheer determination.
anyway, i hope they stay together. it seems ok.

then the little one started in on his brand-new-since-the-bigun-arrived presleep routine of melting down. it's ten a freaking clock and i don't know if he's aleep yet.

jesus.

that really gets me worked up and pissed off. when he won't sleep. i know he's tired enough: he's GOT to be. i neeeeeed to be alone for a few minutes at night.

got the windshield replaced today.

hm i wonder if he's asleep yet so i can bust out the ice cream.
