how funny.
i took the which rock chik are you? test and i got the girl from garbage. i know, like, exactly two of their songs.

today i bought a box of reeds. the guy there was excited about knowing i teach oboe. heh. that's a start, right?
so i bought the reeds and stuck one in my mouth right away. man, what a familiar taste that i haven't tasted in awhile. it felt good to play, i just messed around with scales and intonation, trying to get my chops built back up. but it was very satisfying. i was like yeah, this is what i DO!. it helps a lot that i have support. erika was so excited for me, that meant a lot. it was good to hear from her today.
anyway, it was just the sax. but it was fun.

it was that sax i was playing when i met bryan. les remembers that sax from even farther back.
