ahhhh...sleep.

that makes things much better. everything looks and feels much better. we were smarter this morning and crated willis in the car when he was hissing and fighting with natasha at 6am.

then bubba got up and all i gotta say is, thank god for saturday morning cartoons. they are different and good enough to keep him interested.
and i was drifting in and out of sleep hearing that boy steve....mmmm.
slept until 9!!!!!!

hopefully going down to orange co. today to kick it with my girl leah and "ungle matt".

big ups to the arizona crew...miss ya'll.

went to o.c. today.
i love leah and matt, but the coolest thing about today was: THE SWEATER.
it's one of those, uh, trendy sweaters that are like long jackets with the big foldy collars. it was a $58 sweater at the $15 store. it's a "peaceful" blue (leah said it, not me) with a brown leather tie at boob level.

i lurve it.

because, and i know i'm going to sound like an idiot, it's fucking COLD here.
shut up.
it is.
it's cold in the mornings and at night. the car gets little clouds on the windows. i was really really diggin the phoenix november scene.
this sweater makes me feel cozy.

i am remembering winters in oklahoma, and how i latched on to certain sweaters and sweatshirts and attached emotional investments to them. because it was WINTER and it was COLD. i can't take it. i even feel some of that old seasonal-affective thing slipping in. i've been living in arizona for 4 years. it was all gone.

omy said it's sunnier here than there.
nope.
there's clouds, and smog.
and it's chilly.
(have i mentioned that?)

it's so chilly, i need a big cozy peaceful blue sweater.
i'll post a pic if i ever remember.



tomorrow is going to boring, waiting for monday.
then monday we have to wait around and call landlord and see when we can start moving our shit in.

if anybody knows ANYBODY in la that will help us move we'll pay cash money yo.
