i think something's wrong with me.
catching myself obsessing over financial situation today while washing dishes, i put on my coat and went directly to out of the closet to do some bookscouting.
i found a first edition of wonderland avenue (a book i love) and a really nice copy of high tide in tucson.
the thought of checking out and paying was too much for me and i put the books down and left.
sam felt my forehead when i told him.
i dunno if my interest in books is waning or if it's just my interest in life.

blah.
i shoulda got that wonderland avenue.
i must say that out of the closet on fairfax was the absolute best place i have been for SHOES in a long time. they had all kinds of funky shoes there. many of them in my size (7 and a half, thanks for asking).

When you get that financial aid, go back, get the book and get a few more. Books come first.

are you still looking for black converse low tops? they have some at urban outfitters right now. maybe that will cheer you up. of course with all the selection of COOL shoes, out there you probably don't need converse anymore.

we had a huge ice storm. limbs everywhere. electric is out. we're broke. flat tire on the rental. the bean is closed. no work outside to do. ahhh! me too.
